If a hen was laying irregular eggs...

New layers will lay irregular eggs until she works out all of her reproductive kinks. What are you feeding your flock? Oyster shell should be provided with a fortified all flock or layer feed.
I feed them Putin’s organic layer pellets, she stopped laying a few months ago but all my other hens lay. I put cameras to see who’s laying and she is not.

Will a hen stop laying eggs after coming into lay and all her eggs were irregular? She’s only 10 months old
(misshapen, double yolk, watery egg white)
If she was laying funky eggs and now has stopped,
could be she has a reproductive system disorder or disease.
Post pics of the bird, and her funky eggs(if you have some it could help immensely).

she is not molting, she does have a weird voice like she lost it somehow. She eats normally, poops normally and gets along with the other hens. One thing I was thinkin is that she was attacked by a dog as a pullet and shaken up badly but made a recovery. Is it possible that her reproductive system was damaged and her body won’t lay more eggs? Her eggs were very large btw.

I have a Red Sex link that lays an egg very similar to yours (pics attached), she always has-I don't think I ever thought it was too off from the norm just how she lays them, she lays everyday since she was 20 wks-maybe missed a few days at the beginning but not many. I'm not sure the egg shape is your issues with her not laying. I do have a Silver laced Wynadotte that also began laying at 20 wk, and we had eggs from her for about 2 months she was not regular and layed were ever the heck she was in the coop-found them everywhere. Well, she just stopped laying one day too, for almost 3 months and then all the sudden she started up again and her eggs were bigger than ever and now lays in the nesting bins with the other girls and very regular about it; 4-5 eggs a week. Sue Ellen, our SLW, is a grumpy girl and does not like change, I think when we added the second flock to the original 3 she went on strike. Chickens really do not like change much. I have always read that about them and I believe it..has anything changed in your chickens routine?
