You guys helped me so much. I also have 6 of Shorty's eggs and she is sitting on 12 eggs that should hatch in 6-10 days. If it happens this year,..the last 4 yrs the raccoons and possums got her eggs, she has a good spot and has been sitting on them longer than before. Now since she is another domestic Pekin and if she has ducklings I should try to bring them home after Momma Mallard lost all nine of her babies in less than a week. They might not be able 4fly and will never survive at the college pond with all the dogs, traffic and turtles. Good idea?
