I've seen plenty of pea combed, muffed and bearded birds that look like EEs (and it's what I call them) that lay brown, tan or cream tinted eggs.
 
I have only 3 Easter Eggers. 2 lay green eggs, 1 lays a pink egg. I did not know it, when she was in the layer's coop. I always wondered why I only got 2 green eggs a day, and never got 3, when I had seen all 3 of them on the nest. Since all three EE became the roosters' favorites, I moved them out (and added an apron). That is when I discovered it.
