$50 for a 9200 is actually a little on the high side. I can find them $40 here and $38 when on sale. Online you can find them around $42 if you do some hunting around. However if you haven't already gotten one I highly suggest a hova 1602n instead. If you go look at a few threads including a big one on the lg that should still be on the front page you'll see a lot of people agree that hovas are much easier to use. It also costs exactly the same. If you buy a turner later the turner for an lg will also fit a hova but the turner for a hova will not fit an lg as of the last model I knew of.
Birds turn their eggs a heck of a lot more often than 5times a day. 3 is good enough though. It's best to keep track of these things and to pick an odd number of times to turn. That way the same side is not always up for the longer period of time and you don't have to worry about turning evenly throughout the day. If you turn them after 4hrs once and after 14hrs another time it doesn't matter so long as somewhere in there is a 3rd turn so that the opposite side sits up for the 14hrs. I was turning mine at noon, 5, and midnight. Now I have one turner but 2 incubators. Generally I have one hatching while the other incubates and turns the eggs but every now and then I still get stuck hand turning for a few days. It takes maybe 5mins 3 times a day and I waste a lot more time than that doing worthless stuff.
