I’m not sure about the roo cross hen, but in my experience a beardless EE roo with cream leg bar blood crossed with a golden comet, RIR or barred rock hen makes excellent production. I am a nut at counting eggs and one of my chicken, (if my counting are correct laid 301 blue eggs in a year.

Thank you! I want a Rooster for future babes when my hens start slacking. But I don't want to raise egg production if I can but I don't want my Roo so big it will hurt my smaller hens

I'm dying to see pics of your birds, I have some ees that I'm guessing are cream legbar mixed with golden comets? But can't find any pics ofa mix like that
