Miss broody broke broody and decided to molt. Like Whoa...the pen and yard were full of feathers.








She tried to hide...she didn't want her picture taken...I can't say I blame her, looking that rough and all.
Yes, that is snow....She's been hiding in the coop a lot.

Awwwww. Do you ever wonder why they moult in the winter??? Crazy. Yep, when they go through a heavy moult, they drop feathers what seems to be, all at once. I know my girls did this, this year, just a couple months ago.
