This morning I went out just to look around
the blowing leaves, the beautiful sky.....
when I noticed something moving, about 2 yards
from me. A beautiful 6 point buck. I would have had
the PERFECT shot. Didn't dare move, just in a trance
watching the creature. But, oh man......

That reminds me of what happened last year when my DH & DS were up north at our property hunting. About 6 in the evening my DD notices this huge buck & doe in our back field out our sliding doors. I grab the binoculars and couldn't make out how big (points) but I could tell it was a WIDE spread. I couldn't help but chuckle to myself and then felt the need to call someone. I called my cousin in Montana to tell him for I knew my DH would not have any cell reception and all other avid hunters were hunting! Oh the 1000 questions my DH had when he returned home and found out what we saw!!!

Yea, my DH thought I was totally joking
then said, "you wouldn't have pulled the
trigger".....Oh yes I would have!
