If I let my chickens out today, will they expect the same tomorrow?

No,most likely not,unless you do it more then twice.Not just that,once they learn how to get out,their liable to try to fly out escpecially if they enjoy the extra space.

Or if your chickens are crazy like mine, I let them out, they forage around for an hour, and then they all head back to their run. I take them out again, they head back to the run. They love to escape out the open gate, but just end up circling around the run. When they were younger two of them flew over the fence, but then they stayed right next to it because they just wanted back in and couldn't figure out how!
