Grasstail, who was leading the patrol, veered, coming up in front of the group of Thunderclan cats. She was a senior warrior and was kind and agreeable. "Very well," She mewed, dipping her head in return, though some of her clanmates fur was slightly on end, "we will escort you to our camp."

Lilacstar nodded to her cats and flicked her tail to be followed. "Thank you, Thunderclan will remember this favor for seasons." She let her cats walk behind and stayed quiet.

Grasstail led them quickly. And when they had reached the camp entrance, signaled for her three companions to guard the entrance. Not that she didn't trust them, but that she had a feeling they came with grave news. "Shadedstar, Lilacstar wishes to speak with you." She mewed.

We would be next and we figured best stomp it out now. There were 7 badgers." She looked at him, his expression was unreadable and she prayed to Starclan for the best.
