This morning, I heard a little screech coming from my little bantams that I've got in the brooder. They're feathered out nicely, but still pretty small at 5 weeks old. They still fit in your palm. Anyhow, I thought, "Gee, that's a new noise, I better investigate." So I watched them for a while, and OMG, sooooo cute! One of my little Cochin splash bantams is crowing! He just stretches his little neck, and belts out this little squeal.....I've truly never seen a young cockerel crow that early!
