If I received some chicks, shouldn't I have received them all?

I'm wondering if I should call the hatchery (MyPetChicken) or just wait another day...

I had ordered Australorps, Phoenixes, Silver Hamburgs, Easter Eggers, and Brown Leghorns... I received confirmation that all the chicks would ship the week of May 26.

Today I got a call from the Post office and went down to pick up the chicks... but I'm missing the Easter Eggers and the Leghorns!

I'm wondering if they were packed in a different box and perhaps it will arrive later? But if they shipped out everything at the same time, wouldn't all the boxes arrive together? Maybe the EE's and the Leghorns didn't hatch and they're not going to send them? Wouldn't they let me know?

Ugh... I hate not knowing what's going on, but I also hate the thought of my chicks sitting in a box somewhere!

What would you do?

I'd call MPC right away. They're super nice to deal with.

You should have received all the breeds you were asking for however hatching could be bad and they were unable to filfull the order.

They should have contacted you if they are not able to fill your order OR a partial order will be in. No way should you pay for what you didn't order nor they should charge you again for shipping the remaining order.

Call the MPC right away, they will tell you what's going on. Most likely they EE and Leghorn are ship from another place.

I called them! They are such nice people!!

Apparently my EE and Leghorns were delayed by a week. I caught it even before the scheduler could send me an email advising me of that, lol! (These chicks were only hatched and shipped yesterday!)

So I'll be getting them next Tuesday!
