If I wanted to start breeding fish.......?

What would be a good breed to breed? I want a freshwater fish. I also want it to fit in a regular fish tank...not anything thats like 2 feet long lol (as cool as that would be, I dont have the space). Quick suggestions would be awesome as I am impatient and want to go to the pet store before it closes lol.

Platys or guppies! They are livebearers. You just need some floating plants for the babies.

Bettas are really cool to raise, but a little harder than the livebearers.

I know with Bettas (which was my original thought) is that the male must be kept separate from the females. Are they all that way?

You can put a Beta in with a female just not another male.

Betta babys are difficult to raise. I would go with any of the live bearers, guppies, mollies, swordtails and platties.
