If my chickens would love me any more...

I just sat in the grass with the 10 chicks I hatched on July 3, 4, & 5. They were all over me. They're still tiny little things, so I didn't get scratched, but I sure wasn't expecting all the attention. They were jumping onto my knees and jump-flying off. It was fun!!

These chicks are very different from the hatchery chicks I have. The ones I hatched were not pulled out a giant machine, sexed, vaccinated, boxed, shipped, unloaded, unpacked, re-packed, hauled home, and put into a strange place. I think it made them nicer.
