If my Hens have worms. Should I assume my dog does too?

I think my hens have worms and my dog has eaten their droppings. Should I assume she has worms too and treat her?

Usually the worms that infect birds do not infect dogs (host specific). USUALLY not always....so yes, to be safe de-worm the dog too it can make them very sick if they get them
