If Noah had been truly wise he would have trapped those 2 mice!

SCREAMING here for you as well........yikes!!!!!

EC legs it away...calling for the cats.......mine two are fantastic mousers, so far none in the feed shed this winter.....miracles do happen......Noah surely has a lot to answer for....including spiders.....scream!!!!!!!!

It's a little unnerving to have a mouse touch you. One morning I was just about ready to wake up, when I felt a cool tingle on my hand and I woke up and saw a mouse on my hand! In my bed! I screeched and pulled my hand back and the mouse flew down behind the headboard....my cat came in and was trying to catch it, the mouse ran behind my dresser, my poor cat wanted it so bad, so I pulled the dresser from the wall, and she caught it!

This particular cat has 3 teeth, (long story) so when I picked up the cat, with the mouse in her mouth, to bring her downstairs - she dropped the mouse and it ran into the adjoining bathroom and slid into the tiniest whole behind the toilet.

My cat spent days by the toilet hoping for that little mouse to come back.

love my 2 out door cats

used to let them go in and out the kitty door but they like the hunt so much and are so proud that they would always bring the kill back home. After a full grown squirrel was delivered in my Computer room I had had enough. Mice well lets say they riddle the path with them every day in the spring and summer chipmunks too I spend a bit of time disposing of the bodies but am grateful.

Noah could have left out a few things if you ask me

ewww!! I had a darling cat...he was deaf...
He would drag in through the doggie door all kinds of things...
We came home to bird feathers in the living room....
he tried twice to bring home a bunny...(talking full-sized, kicking, squealing rabbit)
He got it in the house but I got a broom (I know, I'm brave)
and whacked both of'em till he let go...then opened the door and that poor thing ran out. We had to start locking the doggie door, which kinda defeated the purpose!

oh...don't even ask about the possum!

Hey, could be worse - could be flying mice. Our house is infested with flying mice - also called BATS. If they would just limit their nighttime excursions to outside, it wouldn't be so bad but they insist on occasionally flying inside the house and particularly like to fly around our bedroom when we're sleeping. Nothing like waking up to the sound of a bat flying over your head. And get this, they are FEDERALLY PROTECTED - better not kill it or even trap it.

I'm thinking of boxing up a few hundred bats and mailing them anonymously to whoever in DC made those laws.

Ruth - when you box up those bats maybe you can mail them to Pennsylvania, they're having a WNS problem with cave dwelling bats, and they're dropping like flies...

Your bats must be healthy down thataways.

I can't imagine listening to bats flapping around at night ! yikes...

I don't know how I missed this thread!? My cat used to use the doggy door and do the same thing! Rats, birds, rabbits!! We had more wildlife inside the house than outside!! We no longer have that cat and won't replace it either!! I hate dipping into the feed barrel and come up with a mouse!

I end up throwing feed all around the place! Noah could have left the ticks behind, too.

Ruth--I don't do bats. Uh-uh...no way...no how.
Had a bat try to move into our porch area..and everytime we'd come in from church late (once it was dark)...it was like dive bombers....nope...not doing it!!
