If Offered What Would You Pay

I have a local farmer that has 7 Buff Ducks and 13 Blue Swede Ducks. They are about 2 years old. It is mix of hen and drakes.

I don't know much about ducks but just recently as well have some Muschovies that came my way.

Are 2 year old ducks worth anything or are they going to be tough like an old hen?

What you would expect to pay for these live?

I would take them for free if I could. If it were me, I wouldn't spend more than $3-5 a bird. That price might insult somebody who REALLY values their birds. Have you asked him how much he wants for them yet?

IMHO $3-5 would be about as high as I would go also. If your planning on keeping them for eggs but home processing ducks, geese and turkeys makes you happy to live in a small mid western town where the butcher needs the business, lol spent whole afternoon pin feathering 3 ducks and I don't even care for the taste
