If Silkie raises "big chicken" babies, will theygetalong later?Q added

I have raised several different breeds by putting fertile eggs under my silkie hens when they went broody. Never a problem. I have not, up to this point, ever seperated my hens when they were incubating and hatching eggs. I may someday, but it has not been a problem so far. None of the other chickens have ever bothered the newly hatched chicks.
I have gotten fertile eggs from a friend to put under a broody hen, but I have also taken eggs out of the incubator and put them under a broody to finish hatching. It has worked well both ways.
