If the mother and father ducks are different breeds, (ex muscovy and rouen) how long will the eggs take to hatch? 35 days like muscovy or 28 like rouen; when muscovy is definately not the mother?

Could be in between the two. I'd lock them down like they were onna hatch at the early date.

everyone always say's "lockdown". maybe its just a term i know as something else, but what does that mean exactly?

P.S., Cindiloohoo, The bunnies did great! I let them go yestrday out by our pond. Theres plenty of thicket for them to hide in. They drank well and they did great with the clover too.

Lockdown is when you make your final adjustments about 3 days before hatching is due, like removing the turner, making sure the water wells are filled, etc., and then you close the bator and don't open it again until all the eggs are hatched.
