If you are "Logged In" on BYC, are you really?

It automatically stops displaying your username as "online" after 15 minutes, so it really doesn't matter much.

Is that so?? I thought I've seen myself logged on after leaving it open in a tab for a while.... huh.

Well, I think that that's how it works. I may be wrong though. Hmm.

Yeah, I could be wrong too, I'm not sure!

That'd be a great idea for Nifty to look into if that's NOT what happens. I know with my poor Internet service, I've lost connection while still logged into BYC the next day, when my Internet service resumed.

We could test this, I suppose. Take two different web browsers (Chrome and Firefox, for example), log in using Firefox and make sure that you're logged out on Chrome. Then don't touch the Firefox window for 15 minutes. After that, you check BYC on Chrome and see what the result is.
...Of course, one wonders if it's really that important to know for sure.

I bring this up because I've left myself logged on (not intentionally) when I leave work, and I'm still logged in the next morning when I turn on the computer. I'd hate it if I was logged out automatically after an hour or so, as I actually DO have to work (

) , but I didn't know if staying on was some sort of feau paux.
