I built an 8 x 12 lean to coop/shed, with a covered run. It still needs to be painted and a few other outside things done. I just made my windows last weekend. Front and back sofits are open, but covered with hardware cloth for ventilation. My poop board/roost runs along the 12' back wall and the roost bar lifts up out of the way when I scoop the poop. I have my nest boxes inside and raised 18" above the floor, they don't take away floor space this way and are not in my way. I'm real happy with my set up.
