Silkie-feathered Cochins, at least in bantam size, already exist; I have a flock of them and I adore them! 😁 There are also silkie-feathered Ameraucanas, though they seem to have gotten rather scarce in recent years, even more so than they were initially.

Other than them, if I had to choose one from that list, I think Orpingtons would do rather nicely with silkied feathering, and possibly Wyandottes, Barnevelders, and Brahmas as well. I don't think the breeds with longer tail feathers would look as nice with silkied feathering, personally, so Leghorns and Anconas (and my beloved Dorkings) wouldn't do much for me. The rest, heck, I'd take any of 'em in silkie-feathered varieties! I love silkied feathering :love
