If you could have an hour conversation with anyone, dead or alive

I'm so sorry, deerman. I don't even know you but when I read that I had a very real reaction. I hope I didn't stir up any unwanted emotion. I'm not a real religious kind of guy but I have faith you will talk to your son again.

I would pick mummie and daddy,i miss them so.

Well, first off I think that Cupman's selections are unusual enough that I would not mind having an hour or so conversation with him. Getting by that I would also pick my son, Justin, who was killed by a drunk driver in Las Vegas at 19 years old on November 3, 2009. He was my youngest and I really would have a lot that I would want to say. So many things that I wish I would have said and conveyed to him while he was alive.

Bird, Foghorn Leghorn is the most awesome looney tune ever.

Although I have someone personal in mind, I don't want to delve too deeply into that on a public forum, so let's just go with Mark Twain.

Can't believe no one has picked him yet.

My mom and dad. Would like to sit down to a meal with them one more time around the supper table and have a good talk. Ask all those things I wish had been asked when I had the chance.

A lot of people. Robert E. Lee would definitely be high up there. Lincoln, too. I want to know what went through his head. There's actually a LOT of dead people I'd love to have a chance to talk to. A friend of my parents - passed away when I was a little kid - had served in one of the Airborne divisions and had dropped on D-Day. Served in Korea, too. I wish I could talk to him now.

I only remember the 21-gun salute at his funeral. I didn't really appreciate it then... now I have a better understanding.
