If you could live anywhere in the US...

We live in such a beautiful country with such diverse geography and weather, it's hard to pick just one spot! I love being close enough to go to the beach here but far enough away that hurricanes usually weaken before getting to me (I'm in Mobile). I lived briefly in New Orleans and loved it and wouldn't mind going back. It's still my most fav place. I fell in love with Salem, MA, but it gets way too cold. San Francisco would be way up on the list if it were not so crowded. I can't go anywhere that is too crowded for me to have plants and animals. Southeast Tennessee between Chattanooga and Gatlinburg would probably win out if I ever left here. I looooove the Smokies. They are God's Country

I grew up in Salem, MA and it is beautiful....I moved away for 24 years and have lived in Florida, Georgia, California, and, Illinois. Life has brought me full circle and I'm now living back in New England in a very small town and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I would...and will....live in Helena, Ohio again, my hometown. I've been gone for 25 years but it is still home and I long to be there. I finally got hubby to agree to retire there, but I'm going to have to wait another 25 years probably, lol. Better late than never

If you have ever visited Tennessee, you would probably want to live here, especially East Tennessee. The mountains are beautiful. The Smokies and Gatlinburg are a top destination spot. I'm about 2 hours away. We have a four season climate. The dogwoods in spring are stunning and the fall colors, WOW!

I absolutely LOVE where I live, we have a fair amount of property, it's in the country, peaceful, and beautiful.

That said, I would choose to live outside of Bozeman, MT if I had my way. The mountains are so wonderful.

We're actually headed out there on vacation starting July 11.

I'd move further south. I wouldn't mind North Carolina. I lived there for a while years ago. And I like N. Georgia and Tennessee. It's not bad here on the border of WV; there are rolling hills, and we're near the river. It's the most scenic part of the state. But I love the South...
