If you could live anywhere

Thats a tough one, there are so many nice places.

Glenwood Springs Colorado

Whale Beach a beautiful beach town 40 miles north of
Sydney Australia. Imagine Santa Cruz 50 years go with much warmer water.

Mulege half way down Baja on the Sea Of Cortez side.

Oh I can't decide! Maybe a house in each!

NE Tennesse way in the country near the mountains with a spring fed stocked fish pond, minimum 10 acres, near my family. Probably between Greenville and Johnson City. Or on one of the lakes around there. Aaaaaghhh, it would be soooo grand.....

'k, seminole...what's with all the thought provoking questions??

Anywhere? It would have to be Sebring, Florida; but only under one of two conditions.

#1. Only half the year (preferably the wintertime) or

#2. Have Mega Movers pick up this whole farm and move it to Sebring.

Ok, I want to live in the country with not many neighbors. I want acreage.

I want land that has hills, trees and pastures. I loved Kentucky but land is kind of expensive there. Have in-laws in Texas and my family here in Kansas so Oklahoma would be good.

BUT>>>>>

I want a property here in Kansas that I found. 100+ acres, a barn, and it has 2 coops! TWO!!!

I have been dreaming of buying chickens for the coops.

Same here! Except that I'm not quite as far from Nashville (only 30 minutes) and the creek is on someone else's property (but you can often hear it). Two chicken coops up and running......... you might even talk me into leaving some of the chickens...............

I honestly haven't seen enough of the country to decide! I love being close to the ocean but I also really loved driving through rural areas of PA and OH last summer. I love the Cape but don't know if I'd want to live there full time. I like northern New England but I'd be lonely because my husband hates too much snow and cold. I've only lived here in CT and Upstate NY, outside of Rochester. I've been to Alaska and we have good friends up there but I KNOW hubbie would never do it. Not sure I could do year round for more than a year or two. I hate heat and humidity so it would be a cooler climate. I've never been to a desert area really. I just know it would be more rural and have seasons.

I grew up in Carmel, and it was a great place to be a child in 40 years ago. Its still beautiful, but I wouldn't want to live there - or maybe I would if I had the money to buy some land in the valley. Where I would like to live? I truly believe that the central California coastal counties have the best climate anywhere (I don't like it too hot), but to live there again I would still need a job. As it is, my DH and I retired (early) to a wonderful spot in SW Oregon, and we're very happy here. In the spring it will be even nicer because I will have my chicks then LOL

Very soon, very soon, we will be!!! Anybody who has questions about all the weird weather, just open your Bible to Revelations, the last book. It explains it all there. Okie, we are so close to having those incorruptible bodies and no more tears....
