If you could live anywhere

Very soon, very soon, we will be!!! Anybody who has questions about all the weird weather, just open your Bible to Revelations, the last book. It explains it all there. Okie, we are so close to having those incorruptible bodies and no more tears....

Since when was heaven a physical place in the USA?

If I could live anywhere, it would be the wet, soggy pacific northwest where everything is casual and we can complain about the rain and short growing season. With some land, chickens, and a garden to provide 6 months of veggies, id' be a happy clam!

I think I'd pick Santa Barbara CA. It has the weather, the mountains, the beaches and the grass that I like. I love all four seasons but am growing tired of the cold.

And since I'd never be able to afford to live there, it makes for a nice dream...

South Eastern or South Central Alaska because I miss it every single day, but with the provision that I can get out for 6 weeks in the winter because I can't go that long without seeing the sun. To many years in Texas has made it impossible to face a completely gray, rainy winter. I also love Maine and the maritime provinces of Canada, particularly New Brunswick. Georgeous Country.

When my DH and I win the lotto, we will buy a chunk of land on the North Shore of Oahu. Haleiwa is the place for us. It rocks. Of course, we would have to have a log cabin in a remote (not too remote) town in Alaska, maybe outside of Seward. We also love it there.

if money weren't an object?

i'd say ireland or england maybe.

in the states i'd like to move further north into vermont or new hampshire, could even be talked into going to maine.

but honestly, i like it where i am. i've lived many places and seem to keep coming "home" to CT.
wish i lived near the shore sometimes. i grew up on the water and really miss the salty brine in the air, the seagulls and the clanging of the lanyards.

but hey the mountains aren't too shabby either!
