If you don’t have Houdans you have to get them!

I started out with Silkies and Polish because I heard they were friendly and most are. I have 26 of those breeds and they’re gorgeous and unique. However I always wanted to have a few little Houdans. This summer I had a weak moment and just decided to get some. I can’t even believe I’m saying this but they might just be my new favorite breed! I only have 3, however all 3 follow me around. They are super nosey and instead of clucking they kind of gently honk . I don’t even know how to explain it. I love them so much! They’re my First large fowl and they’ve been gentle with all my bantams. I highly recommend. If you have some Id love to see pics. Here’s some of mine. (Sometimes with other breeds included)

There so cute! I have silkies and polish and I would love to get these to, but the rules where I live state that I can only have six chickens (stupid rule I know) maybe we will purchase a property and get some.....maybe....

Believe it or not, maybe a 10 minute drive and the rules are the same here, 10 minutes the other way and there’s no limit. Amazing. Well one day you should add a few.

Thanks you. They are so interesting to me. I love them. The Sultan is nice and sleek looking but is kind of skittish.

We finally found one! This was the only one left so we got some polish chicks too. Excited to see what it grows up to be!
