A huge part of the purpose of dating revolves in learning how to have a balanced relationship, and learning what you do and do not want for future, more lasting relationships. It doesn't mean that there is anything WRONG with a person that what they want and what you want are different, it just means that you have different goals and priorities, and that while you are each nice people, as a couple y'all are not really compatible.
