Unfortunately there is no real for sure answer to this question. Raising them can help but there's no guarantee they won't wander off. If you live in an area with any amount of woods it is very likely they will wander off because they get turned around in the trees or they just join up with a band of turkeys. Basically never free range a bird that you aren't prepared to lose or have a predator take.
