If You had 300 acers of land, no close neighbours,and a bunch of money

I'd put a small house right in the middle of the 300 acres and build a nice chicken house.
Have a herd of horses, some cattle, goats sheep, and lots of dogs.
And I'd hire some one to clean up after them.
 
A catttle ranch... and a bunch of horses to use to round up the cows... just like my dad did when he was a teen. Although he only lived on 80 acres.
I would want angus or herford.
Quarter horses.
Lots of chicken coops and even more chickens. Wyandottes of all colors

and SQ BRs and RIRs.
Maybe some imported German shepherds.
A really big garden and orchard.
That's about it... I doubt I could do all the work it takes to own a cattle ranch... but it would be an experience I'd love to try!

If I lived near a large town with a need for it, I'd build an airport.
 
control over population? have you ever been to the mountains? if the world were over populated then there would be people everywhere, not just in cities, people like to group together, it makes it seem like the world is overpopulated.
 
we used to have 300 acres...we had to sell it though.

chickens

one or two cassowaries

emus

ostriches

ducks

geese

turkeys

dogs

swans

basically any kind of bird
