I've enjoyed every page of inventive and attractive coop ideas presented in this thread, but I have to say I was most taken with your cabin coop, Lilchick! It looks solid and comfy enough to LIVE in! Congrats on a beautiful job.

Well I know I can't compete with some of the awesome coops on here but..... maybe mine will inspire some creativeness in others. I got this from CL for free. This is my banty coop.

The run is a 6'x12' dog kennel Then I just built basic trusses and strapped them to the run using plumbers (metal) tape. Then of course the metal roofing. This has survived 60+ mph winds with no problem.

do you think I could make a run 10x10 roof like that ? there will be additional 10x20 run with heavy chicken wire
