If you have a dog, what kind is it and is it good around your chickens?

Golden retriever and great dane, both trusted around my chickens unsupervised. [IMG] (although the dane's wagging tail has certainly sent a few girls screaming a time or two...lol)

We have five mini dachshunds. They are all great around the girls. However one of our dachshunds is a rebel and I'm always watching to make sure she doesn't do anything wrong. One of the hens we received was attacked by a dog so she now attacks back. It was so funny to see Piper (our rebel dog) chased by Dixie our chicken. Never saw her run so fast before. But Piper still likes to follow them around the yard. I tend to keep my eye on her because of that.

Golden retreiver. He's great at keeping other animals out of the yard, and only occasionally runs through a group of chickens to watch them scatter. He never hurts them though.
