Beautiful fluff butts...I love all those feathers, Is it harder to keep them clean? with so much fluff?

Its not as hard as you may think. I havent been to caring about them lately seeing as they all have been moulting. This weekend is cleaning weekend. The entire coop is getting cleaned out and fresh shavings put in. If I plan to keep them clean for a show, I try to keep them on wire or extremly fresh shavings until the show. My coop is insulated and has 2 layers of plywood in the floor with wire between them. The ceiling is also insulated. There are 3 windows that I usually open during the days the weather allows, as well as the screen door. I still have pens to build in my coop and plan to post pics of it later. It is almost impossible to keep any white birds brilliantly white, although its not impossible. With my white birds I usually wash them in bleach water, it brightens the feathers as well as working as an extra killing agent for any parasites they may have. As long as you dont let them get sunburnt or feed them to much corn they will stay white, anything else can be washed out. It can change the appearance of a bird completely to bathe it.
