if you have a rooster can u add pullets with him or no to create a flock if so how many hens does a rooster need

this is for my freind I am new to owning a rooster so i was not alble to give any info on it any responced are appreciated the qeustions are how many hens does a rooster need and if i have like a 12-24 month old rooster can she add pullets with him that are like 6 months old she didint buy them yet incase you cant thank you for reading😁
 
Yes you can add hens 6 months or older. It's always important to do a see and no touch when you have 2 group join together. They need to be separated but able to see each other for a week.
 
she has a buff brahma rooster rght now and a light brahma rooster and she can make two flocks but rght now there in a roosters roost thats all she has
 
what about brahmas thats what she has buff brahmas and light brahmas
Any rooster, really. The number of hens vary.

I keep multiple roosters to multiple hens, often it's odd numbers, but usually work out fine. That's just an example.

Fighting is normal. It's how a flock Alpha is established. But if seperation is what they want, then that's fine as well. It's their choice.
