If you live in a cold climate

I have my peacock pheasants outside all year.I poly all sides of their pen,all the other pens are polyed from the top down 3'.and the bottom 3 ' are open.My grey hen laid 2 eggs this week, with her first one laid on 2/6.One month earlier then last year. She also raised 2 chicks this past year, which turned out to be a pair.I bought another pair (I thought)from Fl and paired that male with my hen,now I have 2 unrelated pairs.
In N.H.,Tony.
fully agree with Spectrum, outside of peacock pheasnts and firebacks, the rest do fine in most any winter condidtions.

Those are sweet pens indeed.

Some people use electric heated waterers. We water ours two or three times a day when below freezing. Strangely, the dishes on the ground sometimes do not freeze until it gets into the mid 20s. (I think this is partly due to the heat retained in the ground.)
