boar goat is a breed? I don't understand the question. our stable includes alpine, Lamancha , boar x, Nigerian a pygmy, not sure how that one got in. toggenburg, a Sanin, Nubian, alpine,and Nigerian billies. we have 6 girls in lactation we are currently hand milking. 3 or 4 to come in yet and 4 hold back kids. 2 boy and two girls, one of the girls has an Alpine mamma and a/an boarxnubian sire.

I'm excited to see her freshen!!!
of course she is still on the bottle.

stacykins, your comment is little misleading there. ya goats are herd animals, sutch as are all ruminants, but the basic husbandry part would not apply so much to bottle or hand fed kids that may bond with humans and identify them as there" herd" more so than other goats.
