I found what you mentioned. My things were all checked by default, so it sounds like I should have gotten a notification with Debbie's test, but didn't. Unless that's because I was "mentioned" in an edit and not the original posting?Something to check....

There is a whole section on when to get alerts. Make sure what you want to be notified of is checked. The section on article notifications is about half way down. It's a long list.
