I need to know the answer, because while I was away at a concert last night and my sister was in charge of my chickens, my four three-month-old chicks that like to wander the yard never got locked up in the coop! Usually, when they're tired and it starts to get dark out, they huddle together next to the coop until I come out to put them to bed. But obviously they didn't do that last night, or my sister would have seen them and put them away. They never wander far from the house, but they're not there this morning. I wandered the whole yard, shaking a can of feed and calling for them, but to no avail. I searched for scattered feathers that would suggest a predator attack, but found none. I even went into the woods, which they're too scared of to go in. I'm starting to fear that a predator took them without leaving evidence. I just have no clue what to do. Aurora, Marie, Cloudy, and Silvette are very important to me! Help?
