I would be a “Dominicker,” a countrified version of the stately Dominique. I’m not certain if this is a breed trait, but my girl never shuts up. And she is always ‘Johnny on the spot’ when treats might show up. How she knows I do not know, but there she is...instantly, out of nowhere.

My Granny pronounces it that way I wonder how letters get added to words so often with older strong country accents? "The Wal-Marts", "clorock", and of course "Dominicker" are just a few that I've heard very recently. It's amazing how so many people speak the same language but so differently. It's like that with a lot (if not all) languages, but English seems to have the widest variety

I have had the Black French Copper Marans before. There is an order of variety of brown egg layers on order with Murray McMurray.
BUT, thinking of going with the German birds Bielefeld for brown eggs and size.
And a consistent breed to boot. Time will tell what I'll do.
