Toshi, I got a GLW and mine turned out to be a roo too. But he is so pretty, and such a good watcher of his hens. But he is a ladies man, is after the girls in the morning & at bed time.

As for what I would get....Maran and a Welsummer, I want chocolate eggs!

I really want a French Black Copper Marans and a Partridge Silkie. If either of you ladies want a GLW pullet and are close to me I have some I need to rehome. Big beautiful ladies I just have to many wynadottes. GLW's BLW's SLW's and BLRW's They are eye candy for sure

I would keep him but i love my SS roo soo much and dont have a big enoug flock for two roos. Only 7 hens i would love to find a trade, but GLW roo is keeping Banty roo company (mean little roo i swear he is the devil himself!)

But i do agree they are eye candy birds for sure, and he is a handsome one, just dont have enough hens for him too. It is a bummer, he is such a big bird too! How much are those things suppoused to weigh?
