IFA Turkey Mash for quail. What age can I switch them? Something better? (In Utah)

Thank you. The game bird starter is cheaper, so I bought that. I'll plan on just using that from now on. Thank you!

I forgot to say if you do use it for laying quail then they will need oyster shell or some sort of calcium supplement on the side for them.

I'll have a male in with them too. Will it be ok for him to eat those? Do I add it to the feed every time or occasionally?

Leave it in a separate feeder so the females all was have access to it, its fine for the males to eat a bit of it mine ignore it completely, they may have a bit of a taste bit it won’t hurt them, the females will eat it when they need it. If you get oyster shell meant for chickens it will need to be crushed.
