Then when the caffeine kicks in and I'm on my second cup, that's when the laughter starts.

it's weird, even when we have done this again and again we still follow the same pattern! You don't want to be bothered because your tired, i'll be pestering you, worried you're upset with me, then we'll snip at each other then we'll get over it, and the cycle will start all over.

I used to be a morning person, now if I'm up at 4 am it means I couldn't sleep! LOL, I used to be a retail supervisor in a bakery, I had to be there at 5 am. I disgusted everyone else because I was so chirpy/cheery and I don't even drink coffee. No wonder I got all those anonymous death threats.........

KH, you're gonna be fine. Other than having to leave your animals, it sounds like a great trip. You will have a great time meeting old friends and making some new ones. You sound worse than me when I got all worked up over my last trip.

My entire early morning crew was teenagers/early twenties. I was the best shift supervisor they ever had, because I knew all about the partying all night and going to work before dawn gig.

I had coffee ready to pour for them. Then I would help apply aloe to their newest tattoos, put on music they liked instead of NPR news, get them ready for hard labor.

I only kick butt when someone is being a scaredy cat. Because I am a scaredy cat, and it sure helps me cowgirl up when I need it!
