Illinois...

The tp price tag appears to be for a 12 pk. and not the 6 pk. pictured...still seems high but I don’t buy ultra soft mega rolls of Charmin so can’t say.
$5.99 for 73% ground beef is high but typical right now with shortages.
Check Country Village Meats in Sublette to purchase 1/4, 1/2 or whole beef or pork...at least they used to do them...not sure current services.

I recently sold chicks to someone from Wisconsin. She had just purchased 2 pigs that she will process herself (with her family). I guess if you have the skills it's a buyer's market for livestock. I don't think I could ever process something that big. However with backyard chickens, we won't have to worry about protein. Plenty of eggs and an occasional cockerel stew.

Happy Mother's Day to all those fellow moms out there.

DD made french toast. DS scrambled some eggs. (With the Covid19, he's learned how to cook eggs all by himself..... hard boiled, scrambled, over-easy, and sunny side up.) DH made bacon and coffee.

I also got these:

They were supposed to hatch last night but waited until breakfast today. Another nice surprise!
