He's very wrong on the heat not bothering eggs. I just got eggs from RevolutionMama here on BYC and shes in Kansas and when I got the eggs 2 days later we had rotten eggs. I've thrown more than half away because they were rotten.
Oh I wouldn't dare let him ship those eggs because I would want to travel down there and look at their birds. Because in some of their pictures I see blood on the ground.

Blood on the ground, it looks like tomatoes or strawberries being thrown in with them and chickens pooped on it. Many of the photos I see normal droppings so nothing to worry about. It would be best to go there and see his birds personally and see everything you need to know. Wear boots when you go there so you can protect your flock from his if there is any questionable diseases you might pick up.

That would make sense... I'm not sure if they would actually let me see their flocks.

Here is your new teaser for the

Chicken People Meet & Greet Bonfire/Campout
Weekend of August 20th

Hi Everyone!
I'm Denise of Paradise Found! I live near Joliet, Il. I'm just off of I-80 by the Chicagoland Speedway. We have a lovey 14 acre farm and raise Wheaten Ameraucanas.

This August 20th, there will be a chicken people meet and greet at my farm. All Chicken people are welcomed.

There are door prises. There will be camping and a bonfire. There is an indoor toilet.

There is 1 guest room not yet spoken for and I'd like to reserve that for some one of us who is unable for health reasons to camp out but wants to come. First able bodied person who wants that room can have it but must agree to give it up for some one truely in need if nesc. In case of inclement weather, we can move the whole thing ( except the bonfire) indoors as the farm is ready for such occasions. Indoors we can comfortably accomondate 60 people in the same room. There is "indoor camping" if you bring an air matress.

Who can make it????
Please PM me for diections.
We are off the net on the weekends as the farm is too far out for internet. I will not be able to repond after 3 or 4 PM on Friday until Monday morning.

Got ten pullet chicks from Ideal and slipped them under the broody. Well she flat out rejected them totally. So they ended up in the basement with brood light. They are happy!

Looking for someone to take at least half of the number of chicks from me. Three dollars a piece for them.

One is a buff, two are white but one has a green? legs, two are partridges (guessing EEs), and the rest of them are black, either Aussies, Black Sex Links and one of them have solid black comb instead of pink like the others.....don't know what it is but if it is Black Java, I sure don't want it LOL!

I can not find my camera after I cleaned up the living room. It has not been found for two months. Ugh! They just look like ordinary chicks LOL! One chick, a single comb, look like a dark mink. Probably a partridge chick.

Heading out to Bloomington today!

Dont worry, I am expecting to take another trip to Bloomington on Sunday next week on August 7th, for a family reunion at Miller Park, that is, if I have not sold any until then.
