Hi everyone I'm new to IL and new to BYC!! Just moved to the flatlands from WV... What a change! Love BYC I've had chickens all my life and I'm still learning new things on here!

I'm in Downers Grove -- the town just changed the ordinance so that the coop has to be 7 feet from the lot line (it had been 50 feet before, so there were only 500 properties that qualified). I'm here learning as much as I can, since we're going to get our hens early next year. Anyone else around from the western 'burbs?
