Illinois...

I went out and took a bunch of pics today.
Here are the 2 remaining spitzes.

His chest is very dark. I'm not sure what to make of that.

Here are PR's chicks: (2 seramas & a CCL)
They are very tough to photograph because they're always in motion & PR blocks my view on purpose.

The silkied serama is female & the smooth is male.

The female CCL has a small crest.

This is how I normally see them:

Cookie has the lav orp boy, the 2 spitzes, and 3 seramas. (2 female seramas which I hope to sell & a boy named Micro who is 75% serama + 25% silkie)
Here's "Micro" our tiny little cockerel. (He's still about the size of a can of pop.) BTW- If anyone wants this adorable guy, please send me a PM. He's free to a loving home.

Here's one of Micro's serama sisters. She's a very pretty girl.

My wandering pair. Can you see them in this picture?

Can you see them now?

Man they make me nervous going that far out. They are like 2 small specks in that field of green. You better believe this mama "chicken" is keeping a close eye on the skies.
I saw them, but understand what you mean. DD won't let her seramas free range. My flock doesn't spend much time out in the open. They're pretty much hanging out under trees & bushes all day.

An exception is this tough Sebright (named Trouble). We don't worry much about her. (Today she turned 4 years old.) She's been sitting on decorative rock eggs for a while & I slipped 2 pipped eggs under her this afternoon. One has already hatched, and I'll be gradually loading her up with chicks tomorrow. "Happy Hatch Day, Trouble!"

I just peeked in on her:

Meanwhile in the incubator....
