Chickening is an addiction. I believe completely. I started off just wanting fresh eggs. Now I have 13 hens, 5 chicks, 4 more eggs to hatch, 23 CX in a tractor, and 3 CX to try my own meat flock. I sawed the legs off an old crib to house the 3 CX, doesn't that scream "I need help".
Where does it end?

Did mom get back on? Do you have a heating pad with towels you could make a makeshift incubator in a pinch? Other than the half pipped one, are the others developed?

The others look like could be a few days to a week. Just candles them.
Momma did not return. I guess a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.
Amazoning a cheap incubator now. I did get a temp setup. Still fine tuning. The eggs are 98-100. Straw over so the heat lamp doesn't cook them.

Do you have any way to measure humdity? They need higher humdity at hatching

These 3, I might remove 4th because it's far away. Looks to my untrained eye a week or less.

Not really. Its 55% outside, probably more in garage. Plate of water under and occasional spritz.

Thanks. And thank you all for the help..... AGAIN! Lol. Cant wait till I can circulate some of this wisdom you all have imbued upon me.
Rooster is black australorp. Hens are either black australorp, RIR, GLW, or Gold Comet. Most of the eggs looked like GC but the 5 chicks all so far are black. One of them is almost surprisingly black lol.
