Illinois...

hi all, hubby and i are in southern illinois overlooking rend lake dam, on the tallest point in franklin county!!! we have buff orphingtons, easter egg chickens and a couple pairs of bantys for the daughter's 4-H projects. then there are a trio of snowy call ducks, 8 geese, 20 registered nubian goats, an assortment of rabbits, and a dozen or so ponies, dogs and cats. noticed there were some folks close to us, so a special howdy to you

Here is a link to the only poultry processor I have found even remotely "close". Hubby called and I believe it is a minimum 25 birds for 50.00, they will do less but the fee is still the same. I also believe they have a different charge for meat vs non meat birds? It was a little confusing to me, but I was not the one who actually spoke to them. Might be worth your while...I believe you have to book in advance and they need 2 weeks notice?

Yes I have heard about this one and they are good business for most of us here in Macon Co.

I will have to ask for the price sheet.
