I candled the Brown Leghorn one's a bit ago. All except for 1 looked good to me, so I replaced that one with one of the extras that had been sent.

Start with a 5 gallon bucket waterer, with the little drinker cups, with a big chunk of ice. I use a rubber wear container, fill it with water, freeze it and then put it in their bucket. Also I have one of those small totes. I put bricks with ice and it keeps them cool. It's like an ice bath for their feet. They'll stand on the bricks to keep cool. Also I put vegetables in a block of ice and put it on the tote lid and let them Peck at it all day. Chickens use their feet to cool off. My girls also like lettuce. I have a container that I hang it in and they eat off of it all day long.Any AZ chicken people out there? I am looking for some advice on raising chicks in the desert. I'm in Mesa. Does it get too hot out here? I have four 20 day old chicks, 3 Buff Orps and 1 leghorn. Do we need to do anything special here

You will be busy this week! The Brown Leghorn hatching egg's go into lockdown on Saturday for a Tuesday the 12th hatch. At that hatch time, the Silver Leghorns will be going into lockdown for a Friday the 15th hatch.
40?!! WOW. You'll be swimming in chickens!
It was the sender's choice to send me that many, and they have several breeding pens of the Leghorn's set up. None of them are the white colored Leghorn' ones though. I might have some extras, depending on how many hatch.
