I've been out there 3 times already today. It's almost demoralizing to see the places you already shoveled covered again.

@Faraday40 how are the roads out your way? Swim practice is in Westmont today and I am hoping they cancel before we have to. If they close the building, we don't have to pay but if we cancel, we still pay for the lanes. Playing a bit of on this.

Been up since 4:45 am. Have shoveled paths to the coop, little channels for sledding, and our 3 car parking area in front of the garage into a mountain my son wanted to make a cave/tunnel. 28,000 steps and I'm not done for the day. I exhausted. Even my dogs are wiped out.

We have at least 9-12 inches. Higher in the drifts of course. And its coming down again.

Last night when going to bed, things were not bad. (I was hopeful the weathermen made a mistake.) Woke up to about 6" of snow as they predicted. Another 4-5" have fallen and it's still going strong. In total I think we'll get that foot of snow predicted.

I think we're having practice. I guess I could have cancelled but we'd pay for the lanes anyway so for the kids that want to be there, they'll get a good swim in. It looks like 355 is clear (from the cameras anyway) so here is hoping I don't regret this.

You Need to get the little tractor out to do snow.


I have about a ft. I have a plow on my truck. Which doesn't help with the sidewalks or poultry yard

That tractor has been broken down for 2 years this June. No one seems interested in fixing it. I would LOVE to use the tractor.
