Thanks for the welcome! I actually ordered my chicks from F&F. We love living close to Starved Rock, it's really a getaway close to home.

It hasn't taken me long to realize the addiction, and yet I'm not at all concerned! I'm already thinking I need to make my first coop a little bigger than I need for the number of chicks I have now, just in case!

Hello! It's at the Kankakee county fairgrounds. It's called the Tri K piegon bantam club. There are several but the first one is Sunday April 3rd. They have every animal/critter you could possibly imagine and lots of chickens.
